​Welcome! I’m Patricia Richie, a dedicated Early Childhood Educator with 23 years of experience guiding and nurturing young learners. As the owner of Patty’s Little Angels Creative Learning Childcare in Port Deposit, Maryland, I am committed to providing a safe, enriching, and developmentally appropriate environment where every child is seen, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

My journey in early childhood education has been driven by a deep passion for helping children grow through exploration, creativity, and meaningful learning experiences. I currently hold a Level 4 rating in the Maryland EXCELS program, a reflection of my ongoing commitment to quality care and continuous improvement. I am actively pursuing Level 5 status and national accreditation through the National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC).

In the fall, I am honored to be joining the ASPIRE Pre-K program, a valuable opportunity to further expand my knowledge and instructional strategies for supporting kindergarten readiness. I will also be beginning my studies toward a degree in Early Childhood Education, which will enhance my understanding of child development, curriculum design, and inclusive teaching practices.

At Patty’s Little Angels, my mission goes far beyond traditional childcare. I strive to cultivate a loving, educational environment that promotes the social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development of every child. I believe that strong partnerships with families are essential, and I am proud to walk alongside parents as we help their children grow and thrive.
